Willamette River Water Trail Grand Opening
  Show your support for the Willamette River Water Trail.  Join Governor Kulongoski for a ribbon-cutting ceremony & paddle. The event starts at Wallace Marine Park, in Salem.  Bring your own boat and be the first group to travel the Water Trail from Salem to Keizer Rapids Park and then on to Spong's Landing.

Free Water Trail Maps will be available for everyone!

June 12th 10-2pm
Portland Pesticide Free Parks Workparty
  Spend a Saturday morning showing your support for pesticide free parks in Portland. Join Willamette Riverkeeper at Sewallcrest Park (SE 31st & Market) where we will be pulling weeds and other small jobs to keep this pesticide free park in shape for summertime. Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided.
June 18th 10-3pm
Champoeg Bluebird Festival
  Spend an afternoon on the banks of the Willamette River at Champoeg State Park to learn about the Western Bluebird in its nesting habitat.  A fun family-oriented festival with birdhouse building, Ranger talks and other activities for children, blueberry refreshments, a barbecue lunch and live Bluegrass band.
